Was recommended by an architect to use McKnight's builders as they were seen as providing quality workmanship. McKnight's restored/renovated a ruined Mill which he described as needing highly skilled workmanship in order to bring it back to life. Their service was helpful, high quality and done in his words 'with sympathy for the surroundings and the building/stone itself'. I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how pleased we are with the work McKnight and Son have done on our property. We have been particularly impressed by the quality of work carried out by Dave Dixon, plasterer, Paul Gallimore, electrician, and Billy the stonemason. Peter Scott rose to the challenge of the extensive tiling work and all of the trades have been courteous and helpful in their dealings with us. Gary Bell has been an outstanding foreman, keeping us well informed about the progress of our build, using his initiative to solve problems as they arose and liaising effectively with the tradesmen and Architects Plus to bring the project in on time. Paul and I could not have imagined the transformation to the site and are absolutely thrilled with the result; the well has been a particularly welcome addition and the whole thing looks fabulous.
